You may not have considered joining a choir before, but if you would like to sing,
why not join Biddulph Male Voice Choir?
Don’t worry if you can’t read music or have not specifically sung in a choir before – within a relaxed and friendly environment, we use learning techniques that enable you to pick things up very easily. Uniforms and music are also provided.
BECOMING A CHORISTER
We are always open to receiving new choristers who are welcomed into the most suitable section for their voice. There is an initial uncommitted period which gives both the Music Director, and the hopeful, an informal opportunity to assess whether it is wise to continue. As the probation period continues and when the MD feels the time is right and the chorister is comfortable with the current repertoire then comes the providing of the choir uniform in readiness for that never to be forgotten “first concert”.
The men meet for rehearsals at Biddulph High School every Wednesday Evening 7 till 9 pm. Please come along or for more information telephone Colin Heath on 01782 785926.
Dont forget If you have any doubts on the section which suits your voice our music director will be happy to guide you with a voice test.
Come along, take a seat and listen, have a chat and then, if you care to, join in the singing with the section that best suits your voice.
